This is what I got at the farmer's market on Saturday.
- Bag of mixed baby greens
- 4 apricots
- 2 peaches
- An avocado
- A lime
- A yellow pepper
- 2 tomatoes
- 2/3 pound green beans
- 2 baskets of strawberries

So about that monster?
Most of the time I am marvelous but sometimes when I don't eat I get really cranky, mean, and then I cry uncontrollably. The end result is that I will eat the fastest, easiest and most sugar laden food that I can find. That's the Marj Monster.

I graduated from college in May 07 and that fall decided to commit myself to losing the weight that I gained during four years of late night study sessions, finals, and New England winters. In June '08 I weighed in at my pre-college weight.
I was a devoted member of Weight Watcher's online while I lost the weight but I lost interest in it and decided to stop once I hit my first goal weight. For the last year I have maintained my weight without any help.
I am very happy with my body, my weight, and my lifestyle most of the time but I know that according to my BMI I am still overweight and precariously close to being obese. I will be starting law school in the fall 2010 and I want to enter as healthy as possible so I am recommitting myself to losing weight.
One of the most useful tools during my original lost was a meticulous food journal so I am going to use this blog to journal EVERYTHING that I eat.
